Nashua Community College will host the final stop on the Connecting Workforce Resources Tour. The event connects companies with available resources to address workforce challenges effectively. Five events were held in the spring with over 200 participants giving it high ratings.

About the tour
The Connecting Workforce Resources Tour is jointly organized and led by the Sector Partnerships Initiative (SPI) and ApprenticeshipNH. It aims to match employers in the core industries of construction, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and technology with resources to help them grow, attract and retain talent.
The event follows a speed networking format and features overviews of the following programs:
- New Hampshire Sector Partnerships Initiative
- Office of Workforce Opportunity
- Nashua Community College Business and Training Center
- New Hampshire Employment Security
Each of these organizations will present a five-minute overview of their organization. Following the high-level presentations, attendees will be able to go more in-depth by selecting the three workforce organizations best suited to their company’s needs. They will then participate in 20-minute meetings with representatives from those programs and organizations.
“With New Hampshire’s tight workforce, employers are finding it difficult to identify and attract talent with the skills necessary to fill vacant positions,” said Anne Banks, workforce development administrator for the Community College System of New Hampshire and ApprenticeshipNH. “It is our hope to be able to educate and assist companies in finding and crafting the workforce they need by using sustainable methods and resources.”
