Length of Apprenticeship: Approximately two years, which includes 3600 hours of on-the-job training with a mentor and a minimum of 480 hours of classroom instruction at White Mountains Community College (WMCC) in Berlin.
About the Program:
- The length of the apprenticeship is two years and includes eight weeks of classroom instruction at White Mountains Community College (WMCC) in Berlin
- Employer paid tuition!
- Apprentices are paid an hourly wage while training and during classwork instruction time!
- Grant funding available to qualified candidates for fees, expenses and supplies
- At successful completion of the program, apprentices continue their employment as fully qualified Medical Assistants with the employer they were hired by at the start of the program – Androscoggin Valley Hospital or Coos County Family Health
