  • Apprenticeship Occupation: Behavioral Health Aide
  • Employer: Southern NH Health Systems, Nashua, NH
  • Term of Apprenticeship: One year/2,000 hours paid on-the-job training
  • Related Instruction: Nashua Community College

 

Overview:

  • Care for patients with psychiatric disorders
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic social environment
  • Facilitate group activities and psychoeducation
  • Assess patient needs and support recovery
  • Work alongside a compassionate team of doctors, nurses, behavioral health workers & support staff
  • Receive financial assistance to earn a degree at your own pace
  • Dedicated mentor will guide you every step of the way

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
