- Apprenticeship Occupation: Behavioral Health Aide
- Employer: Southern NH Health Systems, Nashua, NH
- Term of Apprenticeship: One year/2,000 hours paid on-the-job training
- Related Instruction: Nashua Community College
Overview:
- Care for patients with psychiatric disorders
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic social environment
- Facilitate group activities and psychoeducation
- Assess patient needs and support recovery
- Work alongside a compassionate team of doctors, nurses, behavioral health workers & support staff
