Bench Assembler – Filtrine Manufacturing

  • Apprenticeship Occupation: Bench Assembler
  • Employer: Filtrine Manufacturing, Keene, NH
  • Term of Apprenticeship: Two years paid on-the-job training
  • Related Instruction: Manchester Community College, River Valley Community College

 

Apprentices will learn skills unique to the liquid chiller process, as well as general manufacturing skills sought after by local employers. A blend of hands-on work and classroom education, this apprenticeship is a competency-based training program focused on three areas of manufacturing: plumbing, refrigeration and electrical work. Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma, HiSet or on track to complete
  • Ability to stand 100% of the time, frequent walking
  • Use of hands/fingers, reaching with arms
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling objects that are 20 lbs. or heavier
  • Pass drug screening test and pre-employment physical
