CDL Truck Driver – Ross Express

About the Program:

  • Apprenticeship Occupation: CDL Truck Driver
  • Employer: Ross Express, Boscawen, NH
  • Overview: Operate a tractor-trailer combination or truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)
  • Term of Apprenticeship: One year of paid on-the-job training
  • Related Instruction: Patten’s Commercial Driver Training, LLC

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis and ergonomics test
  • Must be available for around-the-clock trips/dock work
  • Meet medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and complete a Clearinghouse background check and motor vehicle check
