In this apprenticeship, the Direct Support Specialist provides support with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation, as well as recreational, learning and physical fitness activities. The Direct Support Specialist represents the needs, wants, and interests of individuals supported by the program and provides input on planning and implementation.
