Medical Assistant Apprenticeship – Foundation Medical Partners

Foundation Medical Partners, in Nashua NH, is a member of Solution Health and Southern NH Health. As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Medical Assistant student provides clinical and administrative responsibilities under the supervision of a Physician.  This program is designed to meet standards set by the Affordable Care Act, the skills set required by regional employers and preparation for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam.

How does the program work?

  • 14 weeks of full-time, paid classroom instruction time at Manchester Community College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
  • Preparation and eligibility to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam is through National Healthcare Association (NHA).
  • Placement after classroom education into a full-time open medical assistant position at one of our Primary Care or Specialty practices.
    • Job Opportunity placements include the following outpatient practices:
      • Amherst Family Practice
      • Primary Care of Hudson
      • Primary Care of Milford
      • Foundation Gastroenterology
      • Endocrinology
  • Completion of 3,600 on-the-job training hours with a mentor.

 

High school diploma or GED is required.

Please note that this program will run for approximately two years and consist of 40-hour work weeks.

Please note that accepted apprentices will be required to sign a retention contract agreeing to work for Foundation Medical Partners for a minimum of two years post completion of the program.
