Medical Assistant Apprenticeship – FILLED

Positions at:  Androscoggin Valley Hospital and Coos County Family Health Services – both located in Berlin

About these Opportunities:  As with our other opportunities, these are permanent, full time positions.  The Apprenticeship is approximately two years, including 480 hours of paid classroom instruction at White Mountains Community College in Berlin during which apprentices will work towards a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification.

Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Summary:

Medical Assistants assist providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas such as patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes, as well as perform general administrative duties.

Apprentices receive guaranteed pay increases, starting at $11.00 per hour while you attend classes; you will receive your first wage increase when you pass your CCMA exam.  Ending salary is $15.25 per hour.
