Excellent career pathway through paid apprenticeship!
This is a Community College sponsored program with the opportunity for large and small employers to join. Apprentices are hired and employed by participating employers. Employers can be part of this innovative apprenticeship program by signing a one-page employer agreement and adopting the Great Bay Community College Medical Assistant Standards of Apprenticeship.
About the Program:
- Apprenticeship Occupation: Medical Assistant
- Sponsor: Great Bay Community College
- Term of Apprenticeship: Up to two years of paid on-the-job training
- Related Instruction: Great Bay Community College, Portsmouth, NH with eight weeks of classroom/lab instruction and 4-week externship
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
